brandenburger BRA-GLA® MP material makes use of high-quality thermoplastics with very high chemical resistance. Alkali-resistant micro-porous reinforcements ensure dimensional stability and high mechanical strength at low density. A SPECIAL EMBOSSING PATTERN REDUCES DIRECT HEAT INPUT BY THERMAL CONDUCTION AND SIMULTANEOUSLY IMPROVES THE INSULATION EFFECT.
Special material characteristics:
- Very High Long-Term Temperature Resistance
- Optimal Insulation Effect Against Convection and Radiation Thanks to Surface Profiling
- Very Good Resulting Insulation Effect
- Low Thermal Warp Thanks to a Minimized Contact Surface
- Optimum Chemical Resistance
Areas of application:
BRA-GLA® MP is mainly used as an exterior insulation for moulds, dyes, tools, and machines with surface temperatures up to 270°C that are exposed to average impact stress, as well as average chemical stress; e.g. caused by bases (alkaline ultrasonic bath), oils, mould separating agents, steam, etc.
Insulation with BRA-GLA® MP guarantees an even temperature distribution inside heated systems, helps reduce warm-up times, and increases operational safety in reproducible conditions.
